Approved by a Registered Dietician, Skillastics Nutritional Cards contain 15 thought-provoking questions from the food groups (Grains, Meat and Beans, Milk, Cheese and Yogurt, Vegetables, Fruits, Oils, and Discretionary Calories), based upon the United States Government's MyPlate. 630 cards in all (105 cards for each of the six colors)! Can be used alone or combined with the Fitness Skillastics and Fitness Xtreme Skillastics games.
Simply play the Fitness and Fitness Xtreme Skillastics game like normal, but distribute the proper colored stack of nutritional cards with one of the six matching Skillastics team colors. After the children in a group complete the activity, they all look at the colored border of the just completed activity. Whatever color the border is, the player that rolled the die for that activity picks a card from that colored pile and reads the question to the rest of the team. The cards could be used for discussion, or for actual right or wrong answers.
