Toppleball® has been played in over 8,000 recreation and school systems in all 50 States. Its acceptance continues to grow, and we think we know why. Toppleball® permits 15 to 25 players to participate at one time with so much speed and involvement. Because of its simplicity, Toppleball® can be picked up by any group with a minimum of explanation. Its safety allows it to be played indoors or out, on gym floors, blacktop, concrete, or grass, and requires only a 60’ x 60’ area. For ages 8 and up.
How The Game is Played:
Place players in a circle. Select first batter and rotate batters in clockwise direction until everyone bats once. Batter with most runs at the end of one round wins game. BATTER’S OBJECTIVE: To get the maximum number of runs before toppleball (small ball on batter’s post) is dislodged by the playground ball. Batter earns one run by batting the playground ball past the fielders, allowing him/her to run to the edge of the playing circle and back. FIELDER’S OBJECTIVE: To get the batter out by knocking toppleball off batter’s post with the playground ball. Teamwork is the key.
